Champagne ReefVibrant Volcanic Reef
Swim through bubbling sea floor vents and colourful marine life at this unique, protected reef.
Champagne Reef, located on the sunny south-western coast of the island, is a vibrant ocean habitat with a unique twist. The reef gets its name from champagne-like bubbles which spurt form the ocean floor. Volcanic activity in Dominica’s south is the pre-cursor for this sea-bed action and unique vibe. A short drive from the city along the south-west coast will get you there and divers and snorkelers alike are sure to enjoy this UNESCO protected dive site and be awed by its other-worldly beauty.
We keep it local. Our solid team of guides are all Dominican and have years of experience sharing our home’s beauty with visitors. All our guides are tour guide certified by the Discover Dominica Authority and are trained in administering First Aid and CPR by the Dominica Red Cross.
